← MapHow Goodholler stays honest
- Counts, not ratings. Pros are ranked by positive mentions inside the window you choose. Mixed mentions count half and stay visible.
- Anonymized. We publish counts, dates, neighborhoods and short excerpts. Never a poster’s name, profile, photo, or a link to the original post.
- No bulk scraping. People read targeted recommendation threads in groups they belong to. If a group’s rules forbid reuse, its data stays out.
- Payment never buys rank. Pros who subscribe can receive matched quote requests and a “claimed” badge. Neither changes counts, trends or order on the map.
- “Claimed” means ownership, not quality. We check that the person runs the business. We do not check licensing, insurance, or workmanship.
- Quote requests go to one participating paid pro whose trade and area match, and they see your contact details only after they accept.
- Google reviews are shown as context, not as recommendations. Where a business has public Google reviews we show the rating and count, dated, and let it break ties in the list. It never counts as a neighbor recommendation and never moves a trend.
- Sample data is labeled wherever it appears.
- Your listing is yours to correct. Ask for a correction or removal below. We act within one business day.
